Reload Media is one of Australia’s leading digital marketing agencies based in Brisbane.  We’re seeking a Digital Marketing Strategist to drive the development of new relationships, as well as developing business with existing clients.

Primarily, you’ll be working directly with new prospects and clients to understand their goals and objectives, and then identify the right mix of digital marketing solutions by working with our internal teams. Further, you will be required to assist with the transition from new business to service delivery, by helping with client management and implementation across a range of campaigns.

This role requires you to be at the forefront of digital industry changes, and understand how to put together a strategic digital campaign based on a client’s needs and objectives.  This role would suit someone who has hands on digital marketing experience, and is looking for that next step.

You’ll have a unique mix of being a strategic thinker along with being able to work closely with client and business partners to cultivate authentic and long-term relationships. What You’ll be Doing

  • Working with our clients to firstly understand their business and marketing goals and then driving and customising the digital marketing strategy to meet their objectives, based on the unique insights you have from working with their business
  • Building rapport and transparent relationships with potential and existing clients
  • Running effective and informative sales meetings to the needs of the client. This includes new business meetings, along with presenting client’s digital results, pitching new ideas to existing clients, along with any other meetings to support the team
  • Understanding client requirements and finding the right digital solutions (in conjunction with the teams) to meet their needs
  • Identifying new business opportunities and pro-actively sourcing leads
  • Developing customised and informative proposals, research documents and other materials to support in the sales process. This will cover a wide range of digital marketing channels, paid advertising, social media, content, conversion rate optimisation and wider online advertising
  • Acting as a trusted consultant to clients and being confident to pitch new ideas and challenge existing thinking
  • Analysing digital performance data and translating it into digestible insights and actionable recommendations
  • Client liaison at all levels, including new business and existing clients
  • Reporting on new client metrics and providing continued support during the early stages of the campaign implementation. Generally supporting the team and assisting with client service
  • Being the go-to within the agency on digital channel thinking and stay on top of latest digital marketing strategies and tactics
  • Coordinating projects and tasks including project managing timelines and deliverable by working with internal and external teams
  • Providing input and developing new digital marketing product and service strategies
  • Living and breathing digital marketing

What We’re Looking For in Your Application

  • Experience and proven understand across a wide range of digital marketing, particularly at strategic level
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and exceeding client expectations

  • Proven ability to both develop and grow highly complex client accounts and sustain relationships
  • Experience in delivering successful digital marketing projects and campaigns that meet business objectives
  • Experience in sales or new business development (primary or a component of your role), in particular B2B solution sales
  • Confidence in working with clients of various seniority, presenting ideas and clearly explaining digital concepts
  • A strong understanding of how to approach strategic solutions sales that is focused on digital marketing thinking and planning
  • Ability to think creatively and logically to develop solutions
  • A ‘can-do’ attitude that can be applied to your clients’ work, the team around you and the business as a whole
  • Ability to be level-headed when dealing with multiple clients and projects
  • Ability to work well within a team environment
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Organised and detail orientated enough to manage projects with many moving parts

To be considered for the role, it is vital that your application displays that you have at minimum of 1.5 years previous experience of working in digital marketing, either client or agency side, and have experience with sales and business development.
