Still nothing appears to be happening with Google Checkout Australia which is good for eBay/PayPal but not for consumers…. maybe Google are just waiting to buy a bank or something?

i’d really like to see a genuine alternative to paypal in ebay. end users would benefit from the competition.

Pay pal has the branding advantage more than Google checkout, everybody knows google but I think for the checkout people still prefers paypal because of ebay.
