Primary Objective: To achieve a cost per lead below a set target across all paid campaigns.

The Work

  • A comprehensive tracking recommendations plan was delivered in order to be able to properly measure digital marketing results.
  • A custom promotional campaign was developed to help boost enquiries. While the website was under redevelopment, we set up a campaign that did a better job at getting users to connect with PODS’ high performing sales team.
  • The team at Reload focused their attention on high converting AdGroups within Google AdWords in order to decrease the average cost per enquiry.
  • AdWords phone tracking was set up after we identified phone enquiries as an important source of leads. After being able to see which search keywords were generating phone enquiries, Reload were able to better optimise the campaigns at the keyword level (as we had a clearer idea of the real value of each keyword).

The Results

  • The paid advertising campaigns are producing new leads at 27.1% below the target cost per enquiry
  • PODS’ business ramped up so much after switching on Google AdWords that they ran out of storage containers in at least one city (due to the massive increase in demand)!
