As we close the book on a sensational 2021 at Reload Media, we reflect on a year of growth and achievements. Over the year, we saw an array of industry awards, big client wins, welcoming new Reloaders and well-deserved workplace celebrations.

Awards We’ve Taken Home and Shortlisted

B&T Awards

We were thrilled to be awarded the 2021 B&T Women in Media Award for Employer. This is an enormous honour and achievement, recognising Reload’s efforts across diverse recruitment, career development and innovative team initiatives.

Alexandra Gannon, our Managing Director, said that “winning the award was a huge honour and a testament to the entire leadership team and business as a whole, who have worked hard to place a focus on our people over the past 18 months”. Read more about our win here.

We also celebrated the B&T shortlisting of our individual Reloaders, Alexandra Gannon and Madeleine Chaplin. Alexandra was shortlisted for B&T’s Best of the Best Awards in the Commercial Director category, recognising her contribution to industry leadership and innovation. Digital Media Lead, Madeleine Chaplin, was shortlisted for the Media Buyer and Planner category. We are incredibly proud to champion these outstanding achievements of our Reloaders.

Among these extraordinary accomplishments, Reload Media was also shortlisted for three other B&T 2021 awards – Best Digital Services, Data-Driven Content Marketing and Best Content Marketing Strategy.

Semrush Awards

This year, Reload won the Semrush award for Australia’s Best Marketing Agency, and we couldn’t be more proud. This award recognises the best digital marketing agency in Australia that consistently delivers outstanding results for clients. In addition to this, we were shortlisted for the Semrush Search Awards for Best Advertising Campaign.

We congratulate our Performance Marketing Operations Lead, Alex McCann, for being shortlisted for the Semrush Young Professional of the Year. This category praises young professionals who have demonstrated outstanding performance at a young age.

Women in Digital

We were overjoyed to announce that Amy Scott, Reload’s Performance Marketing Director, was a finalist for the 2021 Women In Digital Award in the Digital Marketer of the Year category. This prestigious category recognises the exceptional results that Amy has achieved for clients in the data-driven digital space.

On this accomplishment, Amy said, “being a finalist and recognised for my 11+ years in the digital industry was a phenomenal experience. From connecting with other finalists to attending the awards gala, it was a huge career highlight for me”.

Australian Marketing Institute

Lastly, we were delighted to be named the QLD finalist in the Australian Marketing Institute Awards for Marketing Agency of the Year. This category acknowledges the critical role that agencies play in the marketing industry, the importance of diverse people and culture and innovative digital services.

Celebrating the Reload Team and Our Workplace Culture

Appointment of Six New Senior Promotions

Off the back of a year of unprecedented growth and milestone client wins, we were thrilled to announce six new senior promotions within the Reload team! The new senior role appointments will support our unique offering as a full-service digital marketing partner to our clients, delivering expert omnichannel digital marketing services.

Promotions included Amy Scott to Performance Marketing Director after 11 years with us and Jess Brooks to Agency Operations Manager after 4 years of growing within Reload.

Additional promotions included Michael Pesavento to SEO Lead, Jade Horrobin to Content Marketing Lead, Alex McCann to Performance Marketing Operations Lead and Jane Magoffin to ecommerce Strategic Lead.

Earlier in 2021, our ecommerce Strategic Lead, Jane Magoffin, presented at the Ecommerce Growth Event in Perth. Additionally, Emily Standley, Reload’s Head of Growth, shared her expertise on the Brisbane Business Hub panel for the small business meetup.

We Secured Exceptional Client Wins

Outstanding BFCM Sales Period Results

Our ecommerce experts supported clients to meet their BFCM sales goals this year. We saw:

  • A client reach a ROAS of x29, equalling over 50% of store revenue for the BFCM weekend.
  • A successful client goal to reach 35% of customers during BFCM to be new audiences.
  • A client reach their goal of $1 Million in sales in under 24hrs.

We Became Digital Marketing Partners for Brilliant New Clients

This year, we welcomed a significant amount of incredible new clients, helping to exceed their marketing goals in 2021 and beyond. Among our new clients were Dineamic, The Beauty Chef, Meyer Cookware Brands (Circulon, Esstelle, Raco and Anolon), Deus ex Machina and Ella Bache.
